Selling a Home During Hardship

Many people sadly find themselves in situations where they need to sell a home quickly. When this happens, these sellers can, at times, fall victim to buyers who are not really buyers at all or simply drag out a potential deal and cause more problems that the seller found themselves in to begin with.

As we've shared before, there are some 'buyers' who are not buyers at all. They are wholesalers who often don't have the financial means to close on a house purchase and their goal is simply to get a house under contract and then these folks look for someone to buy the contract from them, at a markup.

For those needing to get out of a house in a tight timeline, this can be a huge problem.

Sellers should always feel comfortable to ask questions of potential buyers and find out what their motivation is. If a buyer se

ems serious and starts talking potential purchase price numbers, it's absolutely okay to ask for a Proof of Funds letter, which will provide some solace to a seller that the person they are talking to can actually buy the property they need to sell.

RD Homes Florida, LLC, always engages sellers honestly and with the highest integrity always. We never compromise. If you have questions, we're happy to try and provide an opinion on a situation. We never want to see a seller put in a bad situation, especially when they are already facing hardship.
